The 2010/11 season saw Queens Park Rangers, Norwich City, and Swansea City promoted to the Barclays Premier League. Brighton & Hove Albion, Southampton, and Peterborough United were promoted to The Championship division, while Preston North End, Sheffield United and Scunthorpe United were relegated back to the League One division. In the League Two results, Chesterfield, Bury, Wycombe Wanderers and Stevenage were promoted to League One, replacing the relegated teams Dagenham & Redbridge, Bristol Rovers, Plymouth Argyle, and Swindon Town.
